An Aberdeen sports complex has reopened following an extensive £350,000 overhaul.
After weeks of renovations, Sheddocksley Sports Centre now boasts a 60-station fitness suite, dedicated functional training room and a group exercise studio.
It has also been given a large lick of paint with a giant mural engulfing the exterior of the building.
Now known as Get Active @ Sheddocksley, the facility on Springhill Road will be renamed when it is formally opened later this year.
Colin Taylor, chairman of Sport Aberdeen, said: “It is very exciting for us to welcome the local community back into their newly-modernised centre.
“I am delighted that we have been able to make this important investment and am grateful to Aberdeen City Council who also supported the project.”
