A woman has died in a fire on the outskirts of Aberdeen. Emergency services were alerted to the blaze, on the outskirts of Peterculter, at about 3.15pm. Crews are still at the scene. A police spokesman said: “There has been a fire in rural location near Peterculter and as a result a female has died. “It is an ongoing incident.” A fire service spokeswoman said: “We are currently dealing with a dwelling fire. “We received the call at 3.15pm.” More to follow.
