Police have named a woman who died as a result of a fire at a property in the Peterculter area yesterday.
Emergency Services were alerted to the incident at around 3.20pm at a farm house at Anguston Road. Despite the best efforts of the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service, 66-year-old Roseanne Ogilvie died at the scene.
Her family has requested that the following statement be released through Police: “Roseanne was a loving mother and partner. We have been left devastated by this tragic incident and would ask that our privacy is respected at this very difficult time.”
Detective Inspector Sam Buchan said: “Our thoughts are with Roseanne’s family at this sad time. Our inquiries into this incident are ongoing in conjunction with the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service however we do not believe there to be any suspicious circumstances.
