Emergency services have carried out a search for a missing man along the banks of the River Dee.
Police were last night still looking for missing 19-year-old, Scot Rodger, who was last seen in the Garthdee area of Aberdeen on Saturday at noon.
Firefighters were called out to assist the police with their search just after 1pm, and spent three hours scouring the river bank at South Deeside Road and Riverside Drive.
Mr Rodger is described as being of slim build, 5ft 2” tall, and with short mousey brown hair. He was last seen wearing a grey Adidas jacket, black tracksuit bottoms and dark-coloured trainers
A spokeswoman for the fire service said: “We received a call at 1.04pm to Great Southern Road to assist in a police search for a missing male.
“Our crews searched up and downstream on the river bank, but there was no sign of the missing man and they were stood down at 3.40pm.”
Last night a police spokeswoman said: “Police are still carrying out inquiries to trace Scot Rodger.
“We are asking any members of the public who may have seen Scot to contact officers on 101 quoting incident number 1627, 17th November, 2018.”
