A local gymnast group is celebrating a string of successes.
Members of the Beacon Rhythmic Gymnastics Club in Bucksburn travelled to Shoreham-by-Sea, in West Sussex at the weekend to take part in the last round of the national Level Three Group League.
The group scooped the Seaside Cup, a result that lifted them into silver medal position in the Group League, which has been running throughout the year.
Beacon Rhythmic Gymnastics Club have had a successful season so far, winning the Thistle Cup in Edinburgh in September and the Scottish Espoir Group competition in Aberdeen two weekends ago.
Cara Patterson, 12, Gaby Giles, 12, Lucy Nicol, 11, and Abby Reid, 10, won the Seaside Cap while watched on by coach Laura Ytre-Eide.
She said: ““All of the coaches are delighted that the girls’ hard work and determination has led them on this fantastic journey, we are very proud of their achievements.”
