Colourful lights decorating the Blue Toon will be officially lit up tomorrow during a day of festive celebration.
The town’s annual Light Up Peterhead event will include a visit from Santa with six of his reindeer, an indoor market and performances from local groups and individuals.
Frozen stars Olaf and Elsa will also be there joining in with the fun.
The official switch-on of the Christmas lights will take place at 5pm following a parade by Santa and the reindeer from Queen Street at 1.20pm.
He will then take pride of place in his grotto next to his letterbox where children can post their letters.
Visitors will also be entertained by the funfair and performances from local school choirs, Modo, the Salvation Army and a piper.
The indoor Christmas market, where there will be handmade festive goods and foods on offer, will be held at DFS from 11am-5pm.
Starting off at the Dales, the lorry parade will then set off at 5pm, driving into Drummers Corner and then up to the Lido.
Marischal Street, Errol Street, Thistle Street and Love Lane will all be closed for the festivities.
