Police are searching for a man who is believed to have taken a flight from Aberdeen to Paris in October.
Yahya Ghassemazadeh, also known as John Cowry, has been reported missing from his home in Montrose.
It is understood that the 74-year-old took a flight on Friday October 12 and may have travelled on from there.
He had been due to return some time ago and is now considered overdue.
Police have said that they would like to hear from anyone who may have been contacted by him since October 12.
They are also appealing to anyone who may have spoken with him on his flight or at the airport, as well as to anyone who he may have discussed his travel plans with.
They said: “While we would normally ask for details of sightings of missing persons, and that is still the case, on this occasion we would like to hear from anyone who may have been contacted by him in any manner since 12th October.”
Yahya is about 6ft tall and of medium build, with short grey/white hair. He is usually well dressed, although it is not known what he was wearing when he left the country.
