A man has been charged in connection with an series of alleged break-ins to vehicles over the last few months in Aberdeen.
Between October 30 and December 3, 11 car break-ins were reported to have taken place in the Kittybrewster area if the city.
The 42-year-old man is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
Detective Constable Jack Saville said: “Police Scotland is committed to tackling car crime and where incidents occur we will use all available means in order to detect those responsible.
“I would encourage drivers to park their vehicles in well-lit areas where possible. Also, do not leave valuables out on open display and always lock your vehicle when leaving it unattended for any period of time.”
