Jewellery worth more than £2,000 and a three figure sum of cash were stolen from a property in the Cove Road area of Aberdeen yesterday.
A ‘Loquet’ London locket worth around £1,000 was taken during the break-in, which took place some time between 11.20am and 2.40pm yesterday.
Tissot and DKNY watches and rose gold Michael Kors jewellery worth more than £1,000 were also taken.
Detective Constable Faye Stonehouse said: “This incident has happened during day light hours in a fairly busy residential area.
“A white Ford Transit style van was seen in the area at the time and the driver may have information that could be useful to us. I would also ask that anyone who saw this vehicle or recognises the description gets in touch.
“The owners are naturally upset by this incident and anyone with information is asked to contact us as soon as possible.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101.
