The North East Scotland College campus in Fraserburgh will host an information evening for the owners of historic property in the region.
The sessions will highlight the challenges owners face when living in an older property.
Hints and tips on what to look for, causes of concern, small maintenance jobs and the steps towards renovation will be offered at the free event.
It will take place at the Fraserburgh campus on January 22 from 6pm to 9pm.
Andrew Donn, curriculum quality manager for construction, science and computing at the Fraserburgh campus said: “This evening is relevant for anyone who owns and lives in an old building, who wants to learn how to spot potential issues, carry out simple repairs and who to approach for the bigger jobs.
“You don’t need to have any knowledge at all of building repair – that’s what this course is for.”
NESCol delivers courses in stone masonry repairs and rendering workshops and a sash and case windows workshop for trade apprentices.
Those wanting to attend the maintenance and conservation practice information evening session must register by calling the college on 01346 506026
