A north-east drug dealer has confessed to being in possession of a prohibited pistol.
David Ogg appeared in Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday where he pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis at Gurgedyke Cottage in Methlick on March 22 this year with the intention of supplying it.
He also admitted being in possession of diazepam on the same date and place.
In addition, he admitted he had a prohibited pistol which was designed to dispense metal ball bearings.
The court heard that the cannabis in question had a potential value of £7,075.
Sheriff Graeme Buchanan deferred sentence on Ogg, of Bennachie Gardens in Sauchen in Aberdeenshire, in order to obtain reports.
The 45-year-old will return to court next month.
