21A public meeting will be held next month to scrutinise plans for more than 200 homes in an Aberdeen community.
Dandara has submitted their 218 unit scheme for Hazledene Road which would come as part of the Hazlewood development.
The land is currently vacant but was most recently used to store materials associated with the wider development at Pinewood/Hazledene.
With much of the development now complete and occupied, the design and layout of the remaining undeveloped land has been reviewed.
Craigiebuckler and Seafield Community Council are organising a public meeting on Tuesday, January 8 at Hazlehead Primary School at 7.30pm – and has urged local residents to attend.
There are concerns locally about a potential increase in traffic.
William Sell, the chairman of the community council, said the organisation would listen to views and keep “an open mind” on the application.
He added: “The meeting is being held as this is a major development and we are to hear as many views from the community as possible.”
A spokesman for the house builder declined to comment due to the fact a planning application is now live.
