Jordan Argo appeared before Sheriff Graham Buchanan on Monday following the incident in August. The court heard that Argo had telephoned the woman with messages which Depute Fiscal Linzi Souter described as “not pleasant in any shape or form.” The 19-year-old admitted to telling the woman: “Go and slit your throat. If you can’t do it, I will.” After the woman ended the call, Argo called her home phone then threatened to harm himself and frame someone else for the injury. Argo, of Powis Place, was ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months.
