A woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Aberdeen.
Emergency crews were called to Tillydrone Avenue at around 6.30am this morning.
A police spokeswoman said the woman, who was a pedestrian, has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
Her injuries have been described as serious.
The road was closed for around six hours following the incident and re-opened just after 1pm.
