Aberdeen’s next generation of sport and exercise students are preparing to put their training into practice in a variety of placement settings.
More than 40 students from Robert Gordon University’s (RGU) School of Health and Science will kick off the new year furthering their development and skill set in the sport sector.
The third year students, who have been working towards their degrees in Applied Sport and Exercise Science, are will embark on the six-week placements that span a range of industries and employers.
These include high pressure performance settings – such as Scottish Cycling and British Athletics – to those in local communities – including Streetsport and the AFC Community Trust.
Some have also been placed in secondary and primary schools, while others will turn their hand to research at RGU’s school of health sciences.
