The incident, which took place on December 26 at Union Square at around 6pm, was recorded on video and circulated on social media. The 13-year-old girl who was allegedly assaulted was not seriously injured. Constable Robyn Collie said: “We worked closely with Union Square while inquiries were carried out and continue to do so. “We remain committed to detecting and preventing incidents of this nature. “The two 13-year-old girls will be reported to the Youth Justice Management Unit.”
