The Scottish SPCA is appealing to the public for help in rehoming an animal in its care.
Cody the horse, who is between one-and-two years old, was “not in the best condition” when he first arrived at the charity’s Drumoak centre in Aberdeenshrie.
The 13.3hh Appaloosa was soon won over by volunteers and gained more confidence as a result of regular handling.
Now the SSPCA believes Cody is ready to be adopted and staff are appealing for a potential owner to come forward.
A spokeswoman from the charity said: “Although Cody is still a little nervous around the farrier and other new things, he is now ready to continue his training and development and is therefore looking for a home that is knowledgeable with handling and training youngsters.
“He has made good progress while in our care but is now ready to find a forever home who will continue his education.”
