More than £10,000 of damage has been caused by vandals at a north-east school.
Police believe a great deal of windows at Fraserburgh Academy, on Dennyduff Road, were smashed and broken on Saturday, December 29.
The incident was reported to the police on Monday, December 31.
Officers investigating the crime said the cost of replacing the windows is expected to be a “five-figure sum”.
A spokesman for Aberdeenshire Council said: “This vandalism is very disappointing and we would encourage anybody with any information to contact Police Scotland.”
Anyone with information is urged to phone the police on 101.
