There are further snow showers expected in parts of the north and north-east of Scotland today after the region woke up to difficult travel condition this morning.
The Met Office’s latest forecast for this afternoon predicts plenty of sunshine, particularly in the west Highlands, but more snow for parts of Aberdeenshire and the north Highlands.
Most of the flurries will stop in the north-east by the evening but temperatures are expected to be low across the board, potentially as low as -10C in Braemar overnight.
