Jed Duncan has been on the loose for more than 36 hours, after slipping his guards outside Aberdeen Sheriff Court at about 11.40am on Wednesday. Yesterday, Scott Banks appeared in private at the same court accused of perverting the course of justice. Banks, of Aberdeen, made no plea or declaration and his case was continued. He was released on bail. Meanwhile, an investigation is under way into how Duncan, 23, managed to escape from a G4S van. The security firm is now looking into how the 23-year-old apparently slipped out of his handcuffs. Anyone with information about his whereabouts should call 101.
