An Aberdeen primary is still struggling to recruit a new head teacher- after the previous head left in 2017.
An advert is out for the £57,300 a year post at Dyce Primary School.
The advert reads: “To lead and manage the affairs of a school, enabling the delivery of a quality education through the appropriate involvement of the pupils, staff, parents, multidisciplinary agencies and the community it serves.”
It is understood the role has been advertised several times previously but no suitable applicants have been found.
An Aberdeen City Council spokesman said: “We can confirm the head teacher left the post in August 2017, since that time an acting head teacher has been in place.
“The vacancy is currently re-advertised and will close on Sunday 27 January”.
