Children are happy, confident and enthusiastic at a north-east nursery, inspectors have said.
Monitors from the Care Inspectorate visited Rothienorman Pre-School in November.
They have now published their inspection report.
The nursery can look after up to 24 children aged between three and five at any one time.

Inspectors rated it “good” for quality of care and support, quality of environment, and quality of staffing.
“Major strengths of the service are children who are happy, enthusiastic, and developing confidence as they enjoy their time in the setting,” said the report.
It praised “the welcome and nurturing environment where the dedicated team have developed positive relationships and a strong sense of community with children and their families.”
Practitioners were praised for working well together to improve the nursery.
Staff were also recognised for being increasingly responsive to children’s interests and ideas when planning learning.
The nursery recently introduced a woodwork bench to give children the chance to explore and use real tools in a safe and supervised environment.
The report concluded: “We are confident that the setting has the capacity to continue to improve and so we will make no more visits in connection with this inspection.
“Aberdeenshire Council will inform parents and carers about the nursery’s progress as part of its arrangements for reporting on the quality of its settings.”
