City council chiefs spent more than hundreds of pounds to come up with a fitting name for the new community centre in Tillydrone- and finally settled on the Tillydrone Community Campus.
A freedom of information request has revealed the total cost of the deliberations amounted to £335.68.
This was made up from 13-and-a-half hours of staff time at £21.16 per hour and £50 for catering on an open day on November 3.
Three options were presented as part of a near month-long process in November, with the choice eventually between the Hayton Campus, The Hayton Centre, and Tillydrone Community Campus.
The most popular name for the £6 million facility proved to be Tillydrone Community Campus.
The new centre brings together a range of services including existing community organisations, council services for housing tenants and priority families outreach.
It also includes a library, crèche, cafe, business start-up unit and activity halls for fitness and recreation.
The development, based on Hayton Road, was built in the place of a former shopping centre.
