A road has been shut in Peterhead following a two-car crash this afternoon.
The emergency services have closed Windmill Street following the incident, which took place close to the junction with King Street shortly before 1.25pm.
A police spokeswoman was unable to confirm the extent of any injuries as a result of the crash, which involved a black Ford Fiesta, and a white Land Rover Freelander.
Fire crews used specialist equipment to free the occupants of the Land Rover by cutting the roof open.
