Dancers of all ages and abilities are needed to raise awareness of an upcoming sports tournament.
The Golden Games, which also have a winter equivalent, is Aberdeen’s free festival of activity for older people.
The action-packed games, which will take place in June, will include sports such as Boccia, technogym, pickleball, health walks and seated exercise, allowing new and regular attendees to take part in physical activity.
Following on from last year’s successful flash mob event to drum up support for the event, Citymoves Dance Agency is once again on the look-out for people to help them pull of a spontaneous dance performance.
Ruth Kent, dance development officer at Citymoves Dance Agency said: “The festival is brilliant, it gets so many different groups together to showcase all the things older people can still do.
“We always host an event and its a great day for everyone involved.
“The Golden Games raises awareness of the things older people can achieve – and its more than many of us realise.
“Last year’s flash mob was great fun, and we now have a couple weeks to get everything together to make this year’s even better.”
