The incident took place on Great Northern Road, near Leslie Road, this morning. A police spokeswoman said: “We received reports of a crash involving a child pedestrian just before 9am. “It happened at a pedestrian crossing on Great Northern Road. “An ambulance is currently on the scene.” The age of the child has not been confirmed, but police have stated that the injuries of the child don’t appear to be serious.
