Food lovers from across the north-east will be saying cheese this autumn when one of the country’s largest touring festivals arrives in the region.
Cheese Fest UK has been announced for The Event Complex Aberdeen (Teca) on October 19.
It has visited the Granite City several times in recent years, treating visitors with goods to sample and buy from across the globe alongside live music and cookery demonstrations.
And this year the organisation has teamed up with the creator of arguably the world’s most famous fan of Wensleydale cheese, Aardman Animations, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of beloved characters Wallace and Gromit.
Louise Stewart, head of exhibitions at Teca, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Cheese Fest UK back to Aberdeen, especially to our brand new venue Teca.
“We’ve already been able to announce some great consumer exhibitions and events, and delighted we can offer one for all the cheese lovers in the north-east.”
Ashley Ramian from Cheese Fest UK said: “We’re really excited to be taking the festival back to Aberdeen, and especially to brand new Teca.
“The festival continues to grow every year and we have struck an incredible partnership with Aardman Animations, to celebrate 30 cracking years of Wallace and Gromit in 2019.”
