A man has been spared four years in prison for drug and driving offences.
Celestine Eziagulu was warned by Sheriff Graeme Napier that his “serious” crimes should warrant a jail sentence.
The 44-year-old admitted to dealing cocaine and, on April 17 2018, driving at “excessive” speeds, dangerously overtaking and failing to stop for police.
Sheriff Napier said: “You understand how serious this offending was.
“You could easily be looking at four years in prison, but I took on board all that has been said on your behalf previously.”
Eziagulu, of Brebner Crescent, Aberdeen, was ordered to carry out 240 hours of unpaid work over the next nine months.
He has been given an ankle monitor with a strict curfew, meaning he cannot leave his house between 7pm and 6am.
Sheriff Napier also disqualified him from driving for a year.
