Two men from Aberdeen have been charged after allegedly making racially offensive remarks at the football match between Aberdeen and Rangers last week.
Police were made aware of the incident, which took place in the south stand during the game on February 6, by a number of spectators.
The men, aged 47 and 57, will appear at the sheriff court at a later date.
Sergeant Ross Geddes, of the Divisional Alcohol Violence Reduction Unit (DAVRU), said: “I would like to thank those who brought their concerns to our attention and to those who assisted with our investigation.”
He added: “Offensive behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated and anyone who becomes involved in disorder will be dealt with robustly.”
