A 52-year-old man has been charged in connection with an accident which left a woman and child injured in Aberdeen.
It happened on the Coast Road at around 7.55am on February 7, involving a Ford Focus and a Ford Ranger.
The 25-year-old female driver of the Ford Focus sustained a serious but not life-threatening injury as a result and was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
A 20-month-old child, who was also travelling in the Ford Focus, sustained a minor injury and was taken to Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital as a precaution.
The 52-year-old man sustained minor injuries.
Road policing Inspector Steve Manson said: “At this time of year with darker mornings and poorer weather conditions I would encourage all road users to drive to the conditions, reduce their speed, ensuring they are aware of their surroundings and other road users.”
A report of the circumstances will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
