A pedestrian has been injured in hit and run incident in Aberdeen.
The man was struck by a white pick-up truck on Sandilands Drive just before 7pm last night.
Police cordoned off the street for a few hours as they established the full circumstances of the incident which left he man with ankle injuries.
A police spokesman said they were still looking for the van and its driver, he said: “We attended a hit and run on Sandilands Drive after receiving a call at 6.57pm on Saturday evening.
“The male pedestrian received relatively minor injuries to his ankle and was not taken to hospital.
“The vehicle is still outstanding.
“The road was closed for a short period of time, but it is now open.
“Our investigations are continuing to find the vehicle which was a white, flat-bed pick-up truck.”
