A woman has been reported to prosecutors for alleged drink-driving offences following a police crackdown in Fraserburgh.
The 31-year-old is also alleged to have been behind the wheel without insurance and was caught as part of a week-long operation.
Officers seized two vehicles from motorists with no insurance and issued fines for seat belt offences and for people using a mobile phone.
They also spoke to 17 drivers about speeding and handed out 14 parking tickets.
Their operation ran between Monday, February 11 and Sunday, February 17.
PC Jenny Scott said it was all about keeping the port’s roads as safe as possible.
She added: “Our communities regularly highlight road safety as a priority to us, and we are committed to visible proactive policing aimed at improving road safety as well as educating motorists and pedestrians.
“Although the national campaign may have officially ended, we will continue to work closely with our communities in and around Fraserburgh and would encourage anyone with concerns to contact us on 101.”
