Emergency services confirmed that a motorcyclist had been taken to hospital as a result of the collision. One lane was closed while the incident was cleared. The vehicles, a BMW bike and a white Skoda, collided on the westbound carriageway shortly after 3pm. A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We received a call today to attend a road traffic accident on Skene Road in Aberdeen. “We dispatched one ambulance to the scene and transported one male patient in his sixties to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.” A police spokeswoman said: “We were called to Skene Road near Kingswells roundabout at 3.15pm today. “We have now left the scene.”
