Television star Fern Britton has thanked staff at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary treating her arm injury after a nasty fall.
Britton, who had been in the north-east starring in the musical adaption of Calendar Girls at His Majesty’s Theatre, hurt herself on some loose setts.
However, she is now well on the way to recovery.
The presenter and stage star said: “A huge thank you to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after I fell on rickety cobbles a week ago.
“Not broken, but blooming sore. NHS Scotland, you were lovely.”

A spokesman for NHS Grampian sent a get well soon message to the broadcast personality and author on behalf of the health board.
He said: “Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and we will ensure your message is shared with our staff.
“We hope you are making a good recovery, and get well soon.”
