Police are appealing for information following the disappearance of a 34-year-old who is thought to have travelled to Aberdeen.
William Orchin was last seen driving a in a grey Vauxhall Corsa – registration VPN DY16 – in Houghton-Le-Spring area near Sunderland on Monday.
A police spokesman said: “We understand he travelled up to the Aberdeen area of Scotland yesterday, in particular the Bridge of Don area, where we believe he was until roughly 4.30pm.”
Officers are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare, and so police are appealing for help from the public to locate him.
A police statement said: “William is described as white, of slim build with short brown hair and a ginger beard.
“He was last seen wearing black-laced work shoes, black trousers and a blue polo top with a black jacket.”
