A special pot luck supper competition will be held in Aberdeen to raise funds for a north-east cancer care centre.
To mark Maggie’s Kitchen Table Day, the charity will host the cuisine-themed showdown at its centre on Westburn Road on March 28.
Entry to the relaxed and informal event is free, and all are welcome – as long as they bring a dish, a bottle and make a donation.
All of the entries will be judged by local food blogger Claire Jessiman, who is also known as Foodie Quine, with prizes on offer for her favourites.
The pot luck supper will be held from 6-9pm with all proceeds going to the centre, which provides professional support to people with cancer and their friends and family.
All dishes should be labelled with any allergen information. For more information call 01224 612914.
