Police have issued a warning to motorists in the north-east after a 53-year-old man was arrested for alleging driving while under the influence.
A statement from Aberdeenshire North police on Twitter said the man had been caught during weekend patrols on Main Street in Turriff.
The man is being kept in custody as he is on bail for a similar offence and will be appearing in court tomorrow.
