The crash – which involved a grey Seat Altea – took place at 6.24pm near Laurencekirk. The driver of the vehicle escaped without injuries, police confirmed. A spokesman said: “We were in attendance at a crash on the A90, near Laurencekirk. “The overturned car was on its roof and obstructing the lane. “The driver had no serious injuries and was able to free himself from the car.” Traffic was diverted away from the scene while police waited for a recovery vehicle to arrive, and the road re-opened shortly after 8pm.
