Police descended on a north-east high rise flat yesterday after reports of an assault.
Several cars and a van arrived at Aberdeen’s Hutcheon Court, just off George Street, at about 3.50pm.
UPDATE:
Police remained at the property for several hours while investigations were carried out.
Blood spatters could be seen on the ground outside the flat where it is believed the incident took place, but it was unclear whether this was a result of the assault.
Residents were coming and going from the property while police stood outside, but no one appeared to have witnessed the incident.
It was not clear how many people were involved in the fracas or whether anyone was badly hurt.
