Police are appealing for information after the reported theft and subsequent crash of a car from an Aberdeen street earlier this week.
The theft is thought to have happened sometime between 3pm on Wednesday and 4.30am on Thursday morning, from the Spa Street area of the city centre.
Two men were seen running away from the scene.
The vehicle involved is a red or burgundy coloured Citreon C3 Picasso, registration number SY13 GNP.
Rosemount-based sergeant Stuart Robinson said: “The vehicle was involved in a road traffic collision at the Spa Street/Skene Street junction in Aberdeen city centre at around 4.30am on Thursday morning and two people were seen running away.
“I am keen to speak to anyone who may have seen anyone entering, driving or exiting the Citreon Picasso late on Wednesday or in the early hours of Thursday. This information could assist us locating those responsible.
“Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference number 0418 of 4 April. To remain anonymous, information can also be given to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
