A motorist has been charged after a two-vehicle crash on the Aberdeen bypass.
The collision happened on the stretch of road between the Kingswells and Craibstone junctions, resulting in traffic delays.
Emergency services were called to the crash – near the Craibstone Roundabout on the AWPR – at 10.40am.
Police confirmed that no-one was injured in the incident.
The road re-opened at 1pm today, and police confirmed that one person had been charged for careless driving.
A passing taxi driver has said one of the two cars involved had “flipped onto its roof.”
He said:Â “It looked like a white people carrier had crashed, and there were multiple people piling out the car and waiting at the side of the road.
2 vehicle RTC on AWPR northbound between Kingswells and Craibstone. Lanes 2&3 closed. Please SLOW DOWN when passing in lane 1. Police and @balfourbeatty staff are still working on the road. A car passing you at 70mph a few feet away is not a nice feeling. pic.twitter.com/illWnWB6k5
