The 75-year-old was struck on George Street at its junction with Maberly Street on Saturday at around 6.50pm. He was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with a serious injury. Police are now trying to find the driver and vehicle involved, which has been described as being an older style Red Ford Transit van with roof racks. Anyone who witnessed the collision or who has any further information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 using reference number CF0082860419.
