A man has been taken to hospital by helicopter after a medical issue on board a supply boat.
The Aberdeen Coastguard was alerted to reports of an unwell crewman at around 9.55am this morning.
The Bond Search and Rescue helicopter was dispatched to bring the man to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
It is not known the medical issue the man suffered.
A HM Coastguard spokesman said: “We had a medivac in the North Sea, 60 nautical miles north of Peterhead, after reports were received of an unwell crewman at 9.55am.
“There was one casualty, a man, who had a medical issue on board the Caledonian Vison supply vessel.”
Rescue Bond 1 has taken the man to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where they landed at 11.50am.
