Police are asking witnesses to come forward following a serious two-vehicle collision on the A90 Aberdeen to Fraserburgh road.
The incident, involving a grey Citroen C1 and a silver Rover 75 estate, happened at the A952 junction at Cortes at around 9.20am yesterday morning.
A 77-year-old woman who was driving the Citroen C1 suffered serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where she remains in a serious condition.
