It will one of the many music gigs to take place at The Event Complex Aberdeen, the £333 million replacement for the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre.
Louise Stewart, head of entertainment at the venue, said: ““We’re so pleased to be welcoming Lewis Capaldi to Aberdeen at such a high point in his career.
“It’s fantastic to be able to bring a Scottish success such as Capaldi to Aberdeen, he’s one of the the hottest acts in the UK today and we’re sure he’ll be well received by all on his debut Aberdeen arena performance.”

The gig forms one of Capaldi’s UK tour dates, with other stops at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff and the SSE Arena in Wembley.
Work is still under way to get the music venue ready for this summer.
Once it is completed, it is forecast to generate an additional 4.5 million visitors annually, as well as £113 million of visitor spend and £63 million net gross value added to the Scottish economy.
It is also expected more than 350 full-time-equivalent permanent jobs will be created in the first decade.
The venue is being delivered by the council and development partner Henry Boot Developments.
Big names from the music world previously announced to perform at the new venue include Alice Cooper, on October 5, and Elton John, on November 20 and 21.
General tickets go on sale on Friday, with presale available on Thursday.
