An Aberdeen man has been fined after he breached his curfew – to look for a missing chihuahua.
Mark Wallace was arrested last April for spitting on a police officer and behaving in a threatening and abusive manner during an incident at Ruthrieston Circle.
When the 31-year-old appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court in August, he was ordered to perform 240 hours of unpaid work and to remain at home between 7pm and 7am every day until the order expires next month.
However, the Strachan Place resident was recently arrested for breaching the terms of the court decree and found himself back in the dock yesterday.
The court heard that Wallace had ventured outdoors to track down his missing pet, described as “a very small chihuahua”, and did not return home until 11.30pm.
Sheriff Graham Buchanan fined Wallace £75.
