Two teenage boys and a 20-year-old woman have been charged with attempted murder following a disturbance in the centre of Aberdeen.
Police were called to Union Terrace on Saturday night amid reports of a fracas, and a 44-year-old man and 17-year-old girl were taken to hospital.
Today, 20-year-old Courtney Maule, a 15-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy, neither of whom can be named for legal reasons, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court in relation to the incident.
They have each been accused of assault to severe injury, permanent disfigurement, permanent impairment, danger of life and attempted murder.
Maule, whose general address was given as Aberdeen, also faces charges relating to alleged vandalism and an assault to injury charge.
They all entered no plea.
Maule was remanded in custody until her next appearance in court – which is expected to be within eight days.
The two teenage boys were granted bail and the date of their next appearance is unknown.
