Police in Aberdeen are looking to trace a man who was seen near to Malmaison on Queen’s Road around the time of a serious assault on Sunday morning.
A 41-year-old man sustained serious facial injuries as a result of the incident, which took place shortly after 1am.
Officers are now looking for a man seen in the area at the time.
He is described as white, in his 20’s, around 5ft 10in and of stocky build.
He has short cropped mousy brown hair, a round face, pale complexion and spoke with a local accent. He was wearing a black shirt and black trousers.
Police would also like to trace the occupants of a small black vehicle which was in the area at the time.
Divisional Alcohol and Violence Reduction Unit PC Tom Allan said: “This was a serious assault and the 41-year-old man suffered facial injuries as a result and received treatment at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
“We are continuing to appeal for information to help trace a woman who offered assistance to the man injured to get in touch with police.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 using reference number CF0097600419.”
