Two 12-year-old girls have been charged after an Aberdeen school was vandalised last week.
An investigation was launched after rude words were found scrawled on Walker Road Primary School in Torry on Wednesday, May 1.
Police say the girls will be reported to the Youth Justice Management Unit in connection with the alleged vandalism.
PC Rachel Polson said: “We are grateful to members of the public who have assisted us while enquiries were carried out.
“Any reports to us of such incidents will be treated seriously and thoroughly investigated.”
