A missing Cuminestown woman who had not been seen since yesterday morning has been found safe and well.
Kathleen Hadden, 55, was reported missing from Cuminestown yesterday.
She was last seen at around 8.45am at her home in the village.
A major search operation involving a dog unit was launched by police to track down the woman.
Earlier this morning officers successfully traced her car parked on the B9022 Gordonstown to Portsoy road, close to Ordiquhill.
And just after 11.15am, police confirmed that Ms Hadden has been located safe and well.
Officers have thanked the public for their assistance in the search.
